Hernandez is seeking to fulfill part-time positions of Afterschool Educators for their charter school Afterschool Program.
Responsibilities will consist of monitoring up to 20 students per Afterschool Educator.
The Afterschool Educator must be able to plan and implement various recreational and student enrichment activities.
Youth Mentors will scaffold activities with promote team building, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving through sports.
Afterschool Educator must manage student behavior during after school and follow up using appropriate school policies and procedures.
They must maintain system for managing documents, distribution, collection, and storage of registration forms and other paperwork related to program purposes.
Afterschool Educator will build strong professional relationships with students, families, and staff through consistent communication and follow-up.
Work Schedule: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, 2pm - 6pm.
Wednesday 12pm-6pm.

Proof of complete Covid-19 vaccination prior to start date.

Qualifications: A high School Diploma or GED equivalency, with 48 semester units from an accredited college is required; or pass the No Child Left Behind proficiency test in lieu of 48 semester units.
