Your Future Team Aspiranet’s Family and Community Services provide home, visiting, center-based and school-based services to children and families in their communities and offers assistance that is client-centered, trauma-informed, and reflective of best practice standards in the field.

Your Impact The Child Care Aide is responsible for the care and supervision of children at the First 5 Center while parent/caregivers are participating in Center classes or workshops.
Major responsibilities include providing supervision of children, engaging children in age appropriate activities, providing children snacks, greeting parents/caregivers at drop-off & pick-up times, and preparing and keeping clean the child watch area.
Your Skills and Duties Provide and supervision to children whose parent or caregivers are participating in Center classes or workshops.
Engages children in child watch in age appropriate activities.
Prepares and provides snacks to children, when indicated.
Prepares and cleans Child Watch area before and after sessions.
Greets parents/caregivers at pick-up and drop off times.
Completes required paperwork.
Attends required meetings and trainings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience High School Diploma with one (1) year experience working with children/youth in a similar service.
Bilingual Spanish; proficient in both English and Spanish.
Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility; i.
e.
Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL and clean driving record, proof of auto insurance.
