Customer Account Representative

Summary Customer Account Representative is responsible for processing customer orders and deductions, responding to the needs of customers, brokers, and sales management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities · Process customer orders received via email, EDI or Fax in accordance with Musco’s policies and procedures.
· Ensure the customer’s purchase order represents correct pricing (bracket and promotional discounts) before order is released for shipping · Resolve EDI conflicts due to pricing, programs, or other cost discrepancies · Plan transportation for orders in customer portal/transportation management system · Handle all Customer correspondence via phone or email.
· Provides the highest level of service to the customer throughout the order cycle process.
· Work with appropriate individuals to guarantee order is delivered and complete and on time.
· Changes to orders must be communicated to the customer and appropriate individuals in a timely fashion.
· Follow up on outstanding orders to insure they are invoiced on time.
· Match order with BOL from warehouse, when necessary, make corrections as necessary based off shipping documents before invoicing occurs.
Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications · High School diploma or equivalent with three to five years’ sales office/ customer service experience.
· Ability to use office equipment: computer terminal, copier, calculator, and multi- extension telephone.
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills; must be detail oriented.

· Ability to follow-up on pending issues and effectively present information to management.
· Ability to meet deadlines.

The pay range for this position is between 49,000 to 54,000 per year, based on experience.
