Junior Leasing Specialist at 350-unit apartment community.
This is a part time position - 30 hours per week (Monday through Thursday, 8 hours per day).
You will assist the Community Manager and Leasing Specialist in leasing vacant apartments and ensuring current residents are provided with excellent customer service.
The environment you will be working in will be relaxed but demanding.
The position includes an hourly rate plus regular _leasing bonuses.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated and enjoys managing a variety of administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment and has strong customer service skills, and proficiency with MS Office and is bi-lingual in Spanish/English.
This position requires initiative, strong customer service, excellent communication and the ability to work as a team player.
A combination of sales, customer service and marketing skills is required to build relationships with perspective and existing residents.
Former Leasing Experience is NOT required.
Job Responsibilities:
* Answer phone calls and emails from prospective and existing residents in an efficient and timely manner.
* Schedule showings and follow-up accordingly
* Tour prospective residents through units
* View lease ready units to ensure they are up to company standards
* Foster and build relationships with prospective and existing residents
* Ensure excellent resident service and communication
* Support Community Manager with general property tasks such as posting notices and enforcing community policies
* Scan and file documents
* Assist and support our team with projects as needed
Requirements:
* 2+ years experience in customer service or sales industry
* Ability to work in dynamic, complex, fast-paced customer service-driven work environment
* Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office and Excel
* Be dedicated, a self-starter, fast-learner, detail-oriented, with a positive attitude
* Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
* Personality: Upbeat, energetic, resourceful, responsible, takes initiative, dependable, trustworthy, takes pride in work
* Must be proactive, problem solving and project oriented
* Excellent customer and employee relations with a team player mentality (be able to lead by example)
* Be self-directed, diplomatic and have a clear, courteous, professional manner when dealing with the public and the team
* Execution skills and attention to detail with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
* Ability to maintain flexible attitude and approach towards assignments and successfully operate in a consistently changing environment
* Ability to work with minimal supervision, and to interact productively with co-workers and outside vendors.

* Must have reliable transportation and current insurance
* Must have a valid California driver's license and clean driving record
* We will run a background check with a criminal and a credit.
Although the Community Specialist will not live on the property they must meet the same qualifications as an applicant applying to live at the property.
