Summary: Reporting to the Store Shift Lead, Hospitality Manager, and Assistant Hospitality Manager, the attendant ensures the produce and store items are consistently inventoried, stocked, and rotated following company standards.
Acts as concierge and ensures all guests enjoy a memorable experience at our establishment.
Maintain open communication with store Shift Leaders and Managers to ensure all duties below are completed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares and zones items for display and ensures that display cases are adequately stocked.
Provide premier customer service by acting as winery concierge, greeting customers, and responding to questions or concerns.
Provide customers with the information needed to make product-related purchasing decisions, including wine knowledge.
Inspect produce items delivered daily to ensure quality.
Break down produce/dry food pallets, separate produce for the cooler and breezeway.
Trims, cuts, wraps, trays, displays, and watering of produce.
Builds produce displays, rotates, and discards outdated or spoiled products to ensure freshness and quality.
Deliver bruised or damaged produce to the kitchen every day.
Keep refrigerator organized and clean of debris daily.
Ensures proper pricing and signage of products.
Price and organize meats and cheeses.
Stock and rotate dry goods in the store.
Ensures store cleanliness by dusting, sweeping and mopping all store areas and breezeway.
Sort and break down recyclables for disposal.
Ensures a safe and secure work environment.
Transport customer purchases when requested.
