Job Summary: Site Coordinator
The Site Coordinator, reporting to the Field Coordinator(s), oversees the effective planning, implementation, and management of our expanded learning program (ELO-P), site-specific.
The Site Coordinator will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and academically enriching environment for our students while building strong relationships with TCF staff, school staff, parents, and community partners.
The Site Coordinator is responsible for program planning, compliance, communication, student support, administrative duties, and continuous professional development.
Essential Functions
Program Planning and Implementation:
Supervise and mentor group leaders, ensuring culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate program activities aligned with TCF values.
Collaborate with school site staff/administration to integrate ELO-P activities with the school day curriculum.
Develop, schedule, and oversee program activities focused on California Quality Standards and healthy living.
Maintain comprehensive written lesson plans aligned with school day learning models.
Collaborate with the Field Coordinators and school site administration to recruit and enroll/unenroll students effectively.
Record Keeping and Compliance:
Take daily attendance of all students.
Ensure all students are signed in and out of the program by an authorized representative.
Complete attendance audits and submit monthly attendance reports.
Create rosters, adding and removing students from the waitlist into the program when available.
Meet the average daily attendance (ADA) goal for the site.
Communication and Relationship Building:
Cultivate positive relationships and transparent communication with supervisors, TCF staff, school staff, parents, and community partners.
Serve as a liaison between school staff, administrative teams, and the TCF management/office.
Regularly update parents on student performance and program developments through monthly newsletters.
Proactively engage with the supervisor on operational matters, including student progress and program effectiveness.
Model exemplary relationship-building skills in interactions with students, parents, district personnel, and TCF staff.
Student Support and Behavior Management:
Provide support and instruction in ELO-P when needed.
Establish and enforce rules and procedures to maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Assist students in building positive self-image and healthy interpersonal relationships.
Conduct parent meetings, one-on-ones, and disciplinary action plans for students as needed.
Adhere to TCF policies related to safety, discipline, and emergencies.
Uphold TCF policies, including those concerning medical situations, child abuse prevention, dress code, and cell phone/electronic device usage.
Additional Responsibilities
Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the supervisor, recognizing that the role may evolve to include new tasks introduced by the company.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge/Experience/Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have at least 48-semester college units or successful completion of the Paraeducator exam
TB test clearance
Must pass DOJ/FBI criminal background check.
Must be punctual and reliable.
Must have experience working with youth and a general knowledge base of core elementary subjects.
Must possess strong classroom and behavioral management skills.
Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be able to communicate openly in a professional manner with students, parents, and community partners.
Physical Demands
Must have sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to safely supervise children’s activities including the ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
Must be fit for frequent bending and standing.
