We are seeking a live-in caregiver for our 23-year old who has cerebral palsy.
Here are the tasks: Provide care which includes bathing, toileting, feeding, assistance with homework, taking him on walks, stretching and massaging, assisting with medication, accompanying us to the grocery store, doctor's appointment, accompany us on family vacations and weekend getaways, cooking and housekeeping and other tasks as assigned.
Please note: you have to be comfortable with transfers.
He is a fairly tall guy and he weights about 80 pounds.
We do have a hoyer lift as well.
Hours: Typically, you will be working about 30-40 hours a week on average, however, it may be longer on some weeks and some overnights are required.
The schedule changes on a weekly basis but would mostly stay consistent during the school year.
We are looking for someone to start asap.
We are looking for someone who will hit the ground running, provide A+ care for our awesome little guy.
You must be patient, have a sense of humor, kind, have an out-going personality and have a genuine compassion for people with physical challenges and the disabled.
The caregiver will have exclusive use of the guest bedroom and their own private bathroom.
You will also be responsible for housekeeping, i.

, keeping the house clean and tidy.
