I am a home based business (translation=low overhead) with 51+ years PC experience (ok, so I started when I was 8).
I will occasionally do a partial barter for services if you have some old computer gear with salvage value, but generally I accept cash only (it's a long story).
I am available 24/7.
If you call and Lurch answers, please leave a voicemail.
That's my mailbox, I just haven't had time to update my Halloween message.
Maybe next time I'll do my Mickey Mouse impression.
My goal is to get it right the first time.
But I almost always quote a flat rate, so no stressing about my hourly!
Please respect my time and I'll respect yours.
I don't ask for payment upfront, it's ok.
But please don't reach out for a quote then ghost me because you don't want to pay once the job is complete.
And please don't reach out if you're not going to allow me access to the device(s) that need repair.
It's not possible to replace hardware remotely (yes, people have asked!), also hard drive data recovery isn't a 30 minute project we can knock out at Starbucks.
Depending on the issue some things will need to come to my home workbench where I have a large collection of tools, diagnostic software and spare parts.
