ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking a Junior Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) Analyst to be located in either of our Distribution Centers located in Tracy, CA or Monroe Township, NJ and will report to the IT Service Delivery Manager.
This position focuses on supporting operations with the functional and technical day to day of the Manhattan Active WMS.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting functional issues, maintaining the incident ticketing system, assisting with test system configuration changes and working with business and IT to test and implement new enhancements or defect resolutions provided.
The Junior Analyst is also responsible for updating and maintaining incidents, RCA documentation and supporting the testing of the application.
Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for Tier 1 Level WMS Support.
Monitor Distribution Center Incident Ticketing Systems.
Identify, research and resolve operations system / processing problems.
Identifies requirements by interviewing operations, business and stakeholders; analyzing operational processes and implementing technical solutions and documenting results; preparing findings and follow-ups.
Works directly with the project team during configuration, testing, training, and implementation.
Works with the WMS Team to test and implement interfaces between Manhattan Associate products or external systems.
Assist Implementing prototype solutions then validates and verifies results by completing tests.
Prepares operations to use the system by conducting training: assisting with End-User development.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Maintains and shares professional and technical knowledge with peers.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Collaborate and produce deliverables and business collateral to include: Functional flow documents Process descriptions and diagrams High-level system context diagrams Configuration plans Training plans Training Job Guides, SOP QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field strongly preferred Experience with WMS software packages (Manhattan Active or WMOS preferred) 2 years of experience deploying software 1 year of experience with database troubleshooting (SQL) Provides senior level design for business specific enhancements Proactively troubleshoots and resolves issues that arise on the day to day operations Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Process Definition, Support, and Design preferred Functional Flows Process Descriptions Future State Models Root Cause Analysis Minimum 2 years of WMS utilization experience and integration with other process areas preferred Tier 1 or Tier 2 help desk experience (WMS experience preferred ) WMS application to and support of warehouse operations Printing solutions: documents and labels Shipping solutions: Fedex, UPS, USPS, DHL, freight carriers Past experience working in a distribution center with knowledge of Inbound Processing, Outbound Processing, Physical Inventory, RF Transactions, cycle counting, general warehousing, and MHE/Automation integration Set-up Configuration Day-to-day Support Strong leadership skills with past experience in leading workstreams and teams in problem resolution, new development of processes, and implementation of WMS applications, modifications, or extensions.
Strong experience in SCI and other BI/BA tools, reports, and dashboards preferred Understanding of data and system integration tools, methods, and platforms Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills PowerPoint Word Documents Workshop leadership Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Tier 1 Help Desk Experience - WMS experience (preferred) SQL Excel Reporting packages/tools Past system implementation experience: WMS, Order Management, ERP, Automation Travel expectations up to 30% Participate in an on-call rotation throughout the year, with a heightened commitment during 4th quarter peak seasons.
