State Fund's Information Technology, Quality Assurance Unit has an immediate opening for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to apply technical knowledge in complex system, analysis, troubleshooting and reports.
*Telework may be available and is subject to change based on State Fund guidelines and business needs.

In this role, you will:
* Lead the design, customization & development of the Test Automation framework / harness and any in-house tools/frameworks, as required
* Prepare and execute test automation scripts utilizing automation frameworks in both custom built and/or developed solutions
* Collaborate with development and business teams to understand objectives
* Make recommendations for automation standards, guidelines and process improvements
* Provide support and technical inputs to improve the efficient delivery of quality systems
* Identify logical thresholds in existing code and develop new code with analytical coding
*Desired Qualifications:*
* Working knowledge of JAVA
* Ability to read, analyze logical steps, and interpret IT coding for various programming syntax and semantics
* Ability to define and design software solutions
* Working knowledge developing blue print of frameworks, agile, development and maintenance of software product documentation
* Experience with BDD test automation frameworks (Cucumber-JVM, etc.
)
* Experience with JIRA & XRAY API level implementations.
* Working knowledge of Defect Management Process in HP ALM & JIRA
* Proficient with SQL for adding, modifying and extracting data from a RDBMS database
* Working knowledge of version control tools (TFS, GIT or SVN)
* Working knowledge of AI techniques and framework such as (CNTK, etc.
)
* Ability to write professional and accurate reports
* Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, verbally and in writing.
