*Job Summary* This individual has responsibility for managing all credit administration work flow, portfolio reporting information for the Credit Administration and is the Recording Secretary of Senior Loan Committee.
Reviews and distributes all commercial loan presentations including environmental studies, appraisals, third party collateral audits/inspections, and other supporting documentation.
Oversees the preparation of all monthly/quarterly Credit Administration reporting to Executive Management or the Board of Directors.
Provides report management, designs reports and assist’s IT in mapping higher level reporting.
Resolves reporting discrepancies and verifies data in conjunction with other departments.
Manages special projects; both individually and in concert with Wholesale Banking, Loan Center and IT.
Develops and maintains the departments various databases, CRE leases, dairy portfolio, construction guidance line, policy exception, EDR Collateral Screen, and loan approval databases.
Runs intermediate level queries for other members of management on request.
Manages the onsite portion of internal credit reviews by the Bank’s third party vendor, insures that audit exceptions are cleared, assists branch staff with exception resolution and arranges exit interviews.
Updates and writes credit policy under the direction of various EVP, SVP & 1stVP’s and individually as warranted.
Issues circulars and conveys the changes to branch staff and insures changes are posted to the Bank’s internal web site.
Provide technical support for Forced Ranking, SAC reporting and past due reporting.
Also manages the ordering of Asset Based loan audits.
Individual is responsible for managing the department’s attendance and vacation schedule.
*Essential Job Responsibilities* * Expand and develop accurate reporting based on department needs, including the department databases and reports related to them.
* Responsible for providing other reporting and work flow solutions, including process flow charts, forms and reporting processes.
* Collaborates with Wholesale Banking, Chief Financial Officer and IT to support their efforts to streamline processes, improve performance and to provide accurate reporting information.
* Interact with Senior Management as needed to discuss concepts, issues, opportunities, problems and strategies to ensure adherence to credit policies and procedures and to further improve overall portfolio management.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Education & Skills Required* Education and Experience * Requires an associate’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or equivalent college units.
* Individual must have a minimum of 3-5 year experience in a Financial Institution or other related field.
* Excellent leadership, written and verbal skills required.
* Must be able to use the following: Windows based Outlook, Word, Excel and Access at an intermediate level or higher.
* Knowledge of JHA SilverLake system preferred.
Skills * Detail-oriented.
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on correct English grammar.
* Recognize various loan presentation types and the appropriate authority levels.
Requires a complete understanding of various types of credit actions and the documents required for approval of these actions.
* Requires full knowledge of the Bank’s Loan Policy.
Ability to meet deadlines, problem solve and provide solutions in urgent situations.
* Demonstrate ability to exercise independent judgment, initiative and tact in dealing with management, supervisors, staff and the general public.
* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
* Present a professional, business-like manner and appearance.
* Maintain confidentiality.
