Hey there CL, just finished this build, and thought I would share it with you.
This engine was built for my Cousin Ron who wanted big, reliable power for his 1969 Camaro convertible.
I had originally built this engine for him last year, but after 6 months of driving, it suffered a lean out condition, and lost 2 pistons.
Well after the rebuild, we picked up 128hp by adding a little more compression, and changing from 91 octane gas, to E85 fuel.
With 941hp @ 6100rpm, this is a BEAST of a street engine!!
This combo can be repeated fairly easily, but wont be cheap.
This combo has ALL the right parts to make BIG, reliable, repeatable, power.
If your looking for a combo that takes minimal maintenance, well here you go.
This engine has a HYDRAULIC roller cam and lifters, making it perfect for the guy that wants to "gas and go".
Install this engine in your car, truck, jet boat, V-drive boat, and make a statement for sure!
