1957 Chevy 283 Short Block - $300 (Stockton)

1957 Chevy 283 Short Block: 3731548 / FI07F: F - Flint Plant, I - Date Sept.
07 F - Year 1957.
Front Motor Mounts.
Comes with Block, Crank, Pop-up Pistons with Rods, Cam and Lifters, Oil Pump, Chrome Oil Pan.
I purchased this about 10 years ago but never got around to rebuild it.
Not sure if cylinders been bored.
cylinders smooth.
Also not sure on the journals.
I was going to take to the shop to hot tank and check on specs.
but as i said never got around to it.
Looking at the block I only noticed someone attempted to re-tap the threads on the left top front cylinder looks like the tap broke off.
I receive the short block in pieces, so i don't know the story on it.
